Under limited supervision, the Enterprise Solutions Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the college's enterprise applications and systems. This role ensures optimal system performance, security, and integration with other institutional systems. The Enterprise Solutions Administrator supports system upgrades, patches, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain enterprise applications and systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect enterprise systems and data.
  • Support integration of enterprise systems with other institutional systems and applications.
  • Coordinate and perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users and IT staff.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise systems administration or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, system administration, and security best practices
  • Experience with on-premise and cloud-based systems, including AWS, Microsoft 365, and Etrieve
  • Proficiency in managing virtual server infrastructure
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions

OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an educational or public sector environment
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or similar
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI, GLBA, CIS Controls IG 1, NIST, and HIPAA

Additional Information

Work Environment: Primarily standard office and technology environment; involves extended periods at a computer workstation while managing enterprise applications, monitoring system performance, and supporting users; may require occasional work in server rooms, data centers, or network closets, where there may be moderate noise levels, temperature variations, and proximity to electrical or mechanical equipment; regularly interacts with IT staff, faculty, staff, and external vendors to maintain and support institutional systems; occasional travel between campus locations may be required.

Physical Demands: Physical activity is generally light and consistent with an office-based IT role; regularly required to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements; may occasionally require standing, walking, bending, or reaching to access equipment or systems; Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of equipment or supplies up to approximately 25–40 pounds may be required; visual acuity is necessary for prolonged computer use and reviewing technical documentation and system configurations.

Normal Working Hours: Standard schedule, Monday – Friday; occasional evening, early morning, or weekend work may be required to perform system maintenance, upgrades, or respond to critical system issues; on-call responsibilities or flexible scheduling may be required to support essential IT operations and ensure system availability.
