<div id="details-info"> <dl> <dt><h2>Position Summary</h2></dt> <dd> <p></p> <div></div> <br><p id="isPasted">Pitt Community College is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking <strong>Assistant Director of Enterprise Solutions</strong> to lead and mentor a team responsible for the college’s enterprise-level technology infrastructure. This role oversees on-premise and virtual server environments, cloud-based services in AWS and Azure, enterprise applications, web platforms, and backup/disaster recovery solutions.</p> <p>The Assistant Director plays a critical role in ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards, while collaborating with other IT teams to deliver seamless, secure, and efficient technology services across the institution.</p> <p></p> </dd> <dt><h2>Essential Job Duties</h2></dt> <dd> <p></p> <p id="isPasted"><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and mentor a team supporting on-premise servers, VMware-based virtual environments, and cloud infrastructures in AWS and Azure.</li> <li>Oversee and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Rubrik).</li> <li>Support and administer enterprise applications including Microsoft 365, SoftDocs Etrieve, and Element451.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with information security standards and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Develop and enforce policies and procedures for enterprise solutions and information security.</li> <li>Collaborate with other IT units to ensure system integration and institutional support.</li> <li>Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and ensure high availability of enterprise systems.</li> <li>Assist with the development and testing of Business Continuity and Incident Response plans.</li> <li>Provide regular performance, security, and project status reports to the Director of Infrastructure Support.</li> <li>Contribute to IT strategic planning, projects, and system upgrades.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Why Join PCC?</strong></p> <p>At Pitt Community College, we are committed to educating and empowering people for success. As Assistant Director of Enterprise Solutions, you will help shape the reliability, security, and performance of the college’s core technology infrastructure—ensuring that students, faculty, and staff have the tools they need to thrive.</p> <p></p> </dd> <dt><h2>Additional Information</h2></dt> <dd> <p></p> <p id="isPasted"><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</li> <li>3+ years of experience in IT management with emphasis on enterprise solutions and information security.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of server infrastructures (on-premise and virtual), cloud services (AWS, Azure), and backup solutions.</li> <li>Familiarity with information security standards such as PCI, GLBA, CIS Controls IG 1, NIST, and HIPAA.</li> <li>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred</li> <li>Experience in higher education or public sector IT environments preferred</li> </ul> <p></p> </dd> </dl> </div>
