SUMMARY: The Project Manager will be the expert for his or her assigned market platforms to ensure all aspects of a release are completed, compliant with market regulations, and ready for deployment. The top priorities of the Project Manager include converting the scope of work into an approved project plan, monitoring and driving task completion, and effectively communicating changes to necessary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to plan and assign components relevant to the projects and timelines
  • Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
  • Assist Product Manager in the development of scope of work for every release
  • Convert scope of work into an approved project plan, breaking functional requirements down into Epics, Features, and User Stories
  • Work with all departments to effectively communicate and accurately outline expected start and end dates for all assigned tasks within the project plan
  • Coordinate with Product Manager to ensure all aspects of a project/release are compliant with market regulations
  • Document and filter change requests and effectively communicate changes to stakeholders
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps to drive and facilitate the timely delivery of projects within the outlined scope
  • Manage the submission of all lab related projects, mitigating risk and issues to ensure a timely turnaround
  • Drive high-velocity through tracking and monitoring performance during the life cycle of each project
  • Analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Implement the use of dashboards providing high-level views of company and product priorities
  • Coordinate initiatives ensuring each team’s deliverables are completed on time
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings as needed to maintain momentum in project development

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ operational and leadership experience with the ability to challenge and influence a variety of stakeholders
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience driving high-velocity, high-impact development cycles in an agile fashion
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Understanding of dashboards or reporting tools (Power BI, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of project management software and tools (Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience using different development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience and comprehensive understanding of the game development life cycle
  • Agile experience utilizing Microsoft Azure Devops
  • Experience management multiple concurrent projects

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is typical of a traditional office environment.
