The Drug Product Division - North America (DPD-NA) is one of the five divisions that make up the Pharma Services Group. We are made up of approximately 4,400 colleagues across six sites who specialize in taking sterile injectable and oral solid dose drug products from development to commercialization.

Discover Impactful Work:
The Manager, Technical Unit leads a team delivering results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People Development, Customer Satisfaction and Projects while ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and Thermo Fisher Scientific quality systems.
A Day in the Life:
Lead the daily performance of a Steriles manufacturing and filling Technical Unit, coordinate manufacturing, optimize operations, support technology transfer, manage customer and regulatory interactions, develop colleagues, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Technical Unit performance.
- Maintain compliance and optimize line performance (OEE).
- Support safety, scheduling, TPM and problem solving.
- Manage customer, regulatory and people leadership activities.
- Support technology transfer and new product introduction.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization and budget management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Operations Management or related field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical operations or quality experience.
- 2+ years in a significant management role.
- Large pharmaceutical product development experience preferred.
