Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of public and business administration. Considerable knowledge of modern office procedures, practices, and equipment. General knowledge of personnel, purchasing, and accounting practices and procedures. Ability to plan and direct fiscal and business services. Ability to select, train, and supervises employees engaged in business operations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other state officials, and the general public.

Master’s degree in public health administration, public health discipline, or public administration and two years of management experience in a health-related agency, with a preference for one year of management experience in a public health agency; or, graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a public health administration or public health field and four years of management experience in public health.
