- Starting Pay: NC01, $16.33 (subject to changes)
- Knowledge of Community Schools Policies.
- Basic knowledge of educational and recreational programming.
- Ability to supervise groups of children.
- Ability to communicate with individuals on various levels.
- Complete 8-hours of in-service training before the DCDEE State compliance visit for the staff's base school.
- Complete and/or maintain CPR/First Aid and Basic School Age Care certification before the DCDEE State compliance visit for the staff's base school.
- Assist in taking attendance daily for the group you are responsible for and supervising.
- Complete required weekly scheduling activities for your responsible group along with weekly reports.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies, snacks and other materials used in the program.
- Supervise groups of children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
