Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Business Analyst / Executive Assistant I based at our Greenville, NC Headquarters office.

Position Primary Purpose

This position requires high proficiency with computers, as well as strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities with a sense of high accountability to execute assignments on schedule by collaborating with all levels in the organization.

  • Administrative and operational support such as preparing presentations, writing communications, coordinating meetings with senior leaders, and organizing major business events.
  • Data analysis and reports to support new product programs using advanced computer tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power-BI, Salesforce and other company software and applications as required.
  • Special Projects support as assigned by Senior Leadership including planning and execution to deliver projects on plan with team collaboration as per the scope, schedule, and cost objectives.

  • Provide administrative and operational support, including preparing presentations, writing communications, coordinating meetings with senior leaders, and organizing major business events.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and insights using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Prepare research, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, marketing, and operations to support decision-making processes.
  • Plan and execute special projects assigned by Senior Leadership, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems and recommend data-driven optimizations.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Support planning and execution of meetings, events, and corporate initiatives.

What You Will Need (Education):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • Data analytics focus preferred.

Skills, Experience & Abilities:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Business Administration or a related technical/computer field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams, Power BI, SharePoint, and internet research tools.
  • Ability to conduct research, data collection, analysis, and prepare written reports and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of warranty and product cost reports and complex calculations.
  • Proven ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and administrative assistant skills.
  • Experience with event and meeting planning, project coordination, and HYG product knowledge.
