Job Summary:
Position available for responsible person to perform technical and skilled work in the operations and maintenance of a 17.5 MGD activated sludge wastewater treatment facility. Wastewater treatment plant operations with SCADA experience desired. Under general supervision of the Operations Crew Leader, performs routine tasks in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant, and related facilities on an assigned shift or tour of duty; performs related work as required. High School Diploma and Valid Driver's License Required
This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
WWTP OPERATOR I
Salary Range: $47,611.20 - $75,712.00
Anticipated Hiring Range: $47,611.20 - $61,713.60
- Minimum of a Grade 2 NC wastewater license within one year is required
- Up to 1 Year Experience
- HS Diploma/Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
WWTP OPERATOR II
Salary Range: $50,502.40 - $80,308.80
Anticipated Hiring Range: $50,502.40 - $65,416.00
- Minimum of a Grade 3 NC wastewater license is required
- Over 1 Year Experience
- HS Diploma/Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
WWTP OPERATOR III
Salary Range: $58,801.60 - $93,516.80
Anticipated Hiring Range: $58,801.60 - $76,211.20
- Minimum of a Grade 4 NC wastewater license is required
- Over 3 Years' Experience
- HS Diploma/Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
Anticipated Work Schedule - Must be available to work rotating shifts, which include overnights, weekends, and holidays.
