Brief Description:

Position available for responsible person to perform apprentice technician level work while assisting other Control Technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of control and communication systems in substations, electric distribution, and generator facilities, and general Commission building facilities; performs related work as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Over one year of experience
• Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronic field
• Valid Commercial Driver's License

Job Duties:

• Provides technical assistance in the installation, setup, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and microprocessor control systems for generation equipment
• Provides technical assistance in the installation, setup, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and microprocessor control systems for distribution equipment (reclosers, regulators, and capacitor banks)
• Provides technical assistance in the installation, setup, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and microprocessor control systems for SCADA communication equipment
• Assists in the maintenance of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Data (SCADA) system remote terminal units

Normal work schedule is Monday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
