Salary Range: $54,516.80 - $109,116.80
Anticipated Hiring Range: $54,516.80 - $88,920.00

Under general direction and supervision of the Electric Engineer I/II, assists in engineering duties associated with the electric transmission and distribution system construction and operations; assists with project oversight and technical support to in-house and contract crews regarding the construction, operation and maintenance of the electric transmission and distribution systems; assists with special projects as required.

Electric Engineering Assistant I

Anticipated Hiring Range: $54,516.80 - $70,616.00

Job Requirements:

  • Over one year of experience

  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related technical field

  • Valid Driver’s License


Job Duties:

  • Assists with engineering and construction design duties related to the electric transmission and distribution system.

  • Assists with preparing specifications and bid documents.

  • Assists with performing responsible operations analysis tasks and duties relative to improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the electric transmission and distribution system

  • Assists in surveying and staking facility locations including the use of GPS equipment

  • Assists the Electric Engineer I/II with Project Management duties on projects as assigned by Electric Distribution Engineer

  • Assists the Electric Engineer I/II with the planning and design of large distribution and transmission projects

  • Performs other duties as required


Electric Engineering Assistant II

Anticipated Hiring Range: $68,619.20 - $88,920.00

Job Requirements:

  • Over three years of experience

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field

  • Valid Driver’s License


Job Duties:

  • Assists with engineering and construction design duties related to the electric transmission and distribution system.

  • Prepares specifications and bid documents.

  • Assists with performing responsible operations analysis tasks and duties relative to improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the electric transmission and distribution system

  • Performs surveying and staking facility locations including the use of GPS equipment

  • Assists the Electric Engineer I/II with Project Management duties on projects as assigned by Electric Distribution Engineer
