Salary Range $54,516.80 - $86,715.20
Anticipated Hiring Range $54,516.80 - $70,616.00
Job Duties
Position available for person to perform responsible technical and skilled work in the operation, maintenance and repair of instrumentation, control and electrical systems at the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Facility and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Station, including the offloading and vaporization of liquefied natural gas, assists the Gas Plant Crew Leader in plant and equipment inspections during different modes of operation and in performing scheduled testing, calibration, repairing, and rebuilding of various equipment; performs service and maintenance on gas services and mains as well as more complex work in correcting, regulating, adjusting and repairing gas regulators, relief valves and meters; repairs leaks on ruptured or leaking gas facilities; performs work in the testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and coordinating the repair of GUC’s Cathodic Protection System. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified candidate must comply with U.S. DOT Federal Regulations Parts 192, 193, 199.
- H.S. Diploma / GED
- Over 6 months of advanced study or training past the high school equivalent.
- At least two (2) years of prior gas pipeline, service work, LNG Plant Operation experience, or other related experience.
- Valid NC Class A Commercial Driver License or the ability to obtain within the six-month probationary period.
Typical work schedule will be Tuesday through Friday – 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
