Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager/Director of Food & Nutrition Services, the Supv, Food & Nutrition Services oversees the daily operations of food production, service, sanitation, and inventory functions of an assigned area so that patients, staff, and guests receive safe, accurate, high-quality nutrition service. This is an individual-contributor position with no direct reports but supervises the overall workflow of the areas they are responsible for. The Supervisor follows established recipes, diet orders, and department procedures and helps maintain regulatory and food-safety compliance.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes, diet orders, and work assignments.

Valid NC driver's license and adherence to the ECU Health Corporate Driving Policy required only for positions with meal-transport / delivery duties.

1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

ServSafe Food Protection certificate preferred.

Pay Range

$19.50 - $28.42

Other Information

Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week

Rotating shifts: Monday-Friday, either 5am-2pm or 11am-8pm

Rotating weekends/holidays

Must be available to work weekends/holidays/inclement weather
