Position Summary

The ECU Health Medical Center Public Safety Officer (PSO) performs the complete range of security services provided to the patients, visitors, and staff of ECU Health Medical Center.

As a PSO, you will:

  • Demonstrate acceptable level of Service Excellence behaviors and acceptable level of work habits behavior. Meet professional standards.
  • Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Maintain and monitor Metal Detector and provide door unlocks to staff. Provide releases for Morgue to Funeral Directors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School or higher is required.
  • Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
  • Zero to two years related experience
Other Information
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday (5:45 pm - 5:45 am)
  • Required to work rotational weekends
