Job Description
Position Summary
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates
The Mammographic Technologist I is a member of the mammography staff of Radiology Services. The technologist must be proficient in performing screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localizations, and stereotactic mammography as applicable. The mammographic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (M) registered with current certification.
Minimum Requirements
- High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current ARRT (R) (M) or registry eligible and must pass Mammography registry test within 18 months of hire.
- 0 years of experience as Mammography Technologist

About The Outer Banks Hospital
The Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor & delivery suite with a dedicated caesarian section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department.
