| Primary Purpose of Position | The position serves as the department’s student laboratory manager, which includes preparation of all required laboratory reagents, media and supplies, set up and take down of all student laboratory sessions, maintenance of laboratory supply and equipment inventories, maintenance, use, and repair of laboratory instrumentation, and service as the department’s safety officer, which includes proper disposal of biohazardous waste and chemicals.
