Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for providing various student support, services and educational programs accessible to the university community. The division supports Pirate success through environments that enhance student development, engagement, belonging, well-being and career readiness. Primary Purpose of Position
The Production Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the technical production needs of events, meetings, and programs within the Department of Student Involvement & Leadership. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of the Central Reservations Office, the position coordinates technical setups and production services for campus and external events; manages and maintains audiovisual, lighting, computer, projection, and video board equipment; interprets and executes technical requirements for contracted events; oversees equipment inventory, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades; administers content and operations for the outdoor video board; collaborates with university departments and external organizations to support event production needs; and recruits, trains, schedules, and supervises student technicians to ensure the successful delivery of production services.

Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in theatre arts, and demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience interpreting and executing technical riders that come with entertainment contracts and executing the requests from the technical riders, working with and using sound and stage light related equipment including sound and light boards, stage lights, and setting up and executing stage light plots per the technical rider.
  • Experience in working with, using and setting up desktop and laptop computers and LCD projectors for meetings and events.
  • Experience with digital signage or digital video board, and knowledgeable in supporting software.
