Pitt County Government – 4550 County Home Rd Greenville, NC 27858 – is currently seeking an Animal Control Officer.

Under general supervision this position is responsible to protect the public health and respond to requests concerning a variety of animal problems and complaints dealing with domestic animals and sometimes-wild animals as they might relate to rabies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prefer at least 1 year of rabies control officer experience. Valid NC Driver’s License with good driving record. Experience handling animals and courses related to animal control or rabies control.

This is a Federal Work Study (Off-Campus/Community Service) position. Interested Students will be instructed to apply in Peopleadmin.
