POSITION SUMMARY
INOX SOLAR USA is seeking an experienced Onsite IT Manager to oversee the company's day-to-day information technology operations at its manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for maintaining reliable IT infrastructure, supporting employees and production operations, managing cybersecurity, and ensuring technology systems are available and functioning effectively.
The IT Manager will serve as the primary onsite IT leader and will work closely with Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, Manufacturing, and executive leadership to identify technology needs and provide timely solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage daily IT operations at the INOX SOLAR facility.
- Maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage onsite network infrastructure, including switches, wireless networks, firewalls, and connectivity.
- Monitor system performance and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Coordinate IT equipment installation, configuration, upgrades, and replacement.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and equipment.
Employee Technical Support
- Provide hands-on technical support to employees and managers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and system-access issues.
- Create, manage, and disable user accounts and system access.
- Support onboarding and offboarding by ensuring employees receive or return required technology and access.
- Provide training and technical guidance to employees when needed.
Manufacturing & Production Support
- Provide IT support for manufacturing and production systems.
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to troubleshoot technology issues affecting production.
- Support computers, scanners, terminals, printers, communication systems, and other technology used throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Respond quickly to technology issues that could impact production, safety, quality, or shipping operations.
- Assist with implementation of new manufacturing technology and systems.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
- Monitor network and system security.
- Manage user permissions and access controls.
- Assist with cybersecurity awareness and employee training.
- Maintain appropriate backups and disaster-recovery procedures.
- Investigate and respond to IT security incidents.
- Work to protect company information, employee information, and business systems.
IT Systems & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Evaluate technology products and services.
- Assist with IT purchasing and budget management.
- Negotiate or assist with vendor agreements when appropriate.
- Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, licenses, and IT procedures.
Leadership & Project Management
- Establish IT priorities based on business and operational needs.
- Lead IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and technology improvements.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Track IT issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding IT operations, risks, projects, and recommendations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing Windows environments, Microsoft 365, user accounts, and network infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting technology problems in a fast-paced onsite environment.
- Strong understanding of IT security and data protection practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple issues and respond quickly to production-critical IT problems.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Manufacturing or solar industry experience.
- Experience with ERP, MES, WMS, or other manufacturing systems.
- Experience supporting barcode scanners, production terminals, printers, and warehouse technology.
- Experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
- Experience managing IT vendors and technology projects.
- Experience developing IT policies and SOPs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an onsite position at the INOX SOLAR USA manufacturing facility. The IT Manager must be available to provide hands-on support throughout the facility and may be required to respond to urgent technology issues affecting production operations. Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required for system upgrades, maintenance, outages, or production-critical IT issues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to stand, walk, and move between office and production areas as needed.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment as required.
