Training Supervisor

SUMMARY:
The Training Supervisor is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating employee training programs across all levels of the organization, while supporting the development and promotion of the company's corporate culture in alignment with group-level strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Training
- Coordinate new employee onboarding training, including induction presentations and hands-on orientation logistics
- Plan and organize plant-wide training programs (safety, systems, technical, and general)
- Source and manage external training resources including vendors, instructors, and logistics (travel, lodging, meals)
- Coordinate certification renewals and re-examinations for special equipment operators
- Process training expense applications and reimbursements
- Draft, execute, and file training agreements
- Maintain training records and ledgers (certifications, safety credentials, expenses)
- Administer the E-HR learning management system; assign and track online training completion
- Prepare monthly training plans and summaries; provide monthly and quarterly reporting
- Organize and archive all training documentation (attendance sheets, assessments, courseware)
- Support internal and external audits with relevant training materials and documentation
Corporate Culture
- Plan and execute group-level corporate culture activities, promotions, and communications
- Organize annual staff meetings and group morning meetings
- Conduct regular employee engagement surveys; analyze data and summarize actionable findings
- Manage employee recognition and disciplinary processes, including investigation of related matters
- Coordinate internal communications, manuscript editing, and related publication work
General
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Experience: 3+ years of training experience; 1+ year of corporate culture planning in a large enterprise, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Familiar with HR management processes and applicable federal and North Carolina labor laws
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience in training course design, development, and delivery
- Background in corporate culture planning and employee engagement
- Skilled in corporate communications tools, newsletter/publication layout, and social media platforms
