Civil Engineer - Site Development
Greenville, NC, USA
Responsibilities:
- Support site development design including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control
- Coordinate with design-build contractor (ARCO) and MEP contractor (Kide)
- Review civil drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements and construction needs
- Assist with permitting process including stormwater and erosion control approvals
- Provide construction-phase support and resolve site issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 3–8 years of experience in site development or industrial projects
- EIT required; PE (NC) preferred or ability to obtain
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiar with North Carolina permitting (NCDEQ, local agencies)
- Experience with large-scale site grading and drainage preferred
Preferred:
- Industrial or manufacturing project experience
- Experience working with design-build contractors
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
