Standardize warehouse and inventory management to improve efficiency, control costs, and support a logistics service system that meets customer delivery needs—providing timely information and tailored service to internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee domestic and international shipments, ensuring US import compliance.
- Manage supply agreement compliance, deliverables, and milestones; validate vendor invoices and import documentation.
- Understand vendor contracts and sourcing scopes.
- Serve as liaison between 3rd-party warehouses, clients, and the Company; resolve logistics issues.
- Manage 3rd-party warehouse/carrier vendors, contracts, and performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on contract adherence and deliverables.
- Develop and manage order fulfillment and order process flows.
- Maintain ERP data (sales orders, invoices, inventory) and Bill of Lading logs.
- Maintain reports/metrics; coordinate with Finance on orders, invoices, and month-end close.
- Support sales forecasting, production planning, and inventory allocation.
- Lead internal and external logistics/operations audits.
- Manage, hire, and train the Logistics team.
- Drive continuous improvement in purchasing logistics processes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Contract Management, Logistics, Accounting, or Business
- 5+ years in logistics
- Familiarity with solar/energy storage components and standards
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including composure under pressure
- Strong organizational skills with clear project plans and executive-level reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- HIGHLY PREFERRED - Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
