The HR & Admin Manager leads all human resources and administrative functions for Boviet Solar's U.S. operations, translating business plans and market conditions into effective organizational strategy, workforce planning, and plant-level administrative support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources

  • Develop the yearly HR plan, including headcount, salary, and benefits forecasting.
  • Manage compensation review and the performance management cycle, including payroll oversight.
  • Partner with department managers on training programs and effective recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and labor contracts in compliance with North Carolina and federal labor law.
  • Guide employee and labor relations, and support HR staff in daily HR operations.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management on organizational change and workforce engagement.

Administration

  • Oversee office management, procurement, and equipment/supplies for the manufacturing plant.
  • Manage the administrative budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and enforce administrative policies in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships, contracts, and service quality.
  • Lead administrative projects such as office renovations and equipment upgrades.
  • Oversee plant security, safety protocols, and emergency response planning.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resource management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of the core HR functional areas (workforce planning, compensation, training, employee relations, etc.).
  • Familiarity with North Carolina and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across teams.
